Prof. Romanus Odhiambo was appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Meru University of Science and Technology on 6th August, 2018. He is a Professor of Statistics of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) since 2007. His research interests in statistics are: Robust estimation in finite population, multiplicative bias reduction, artificial neutral network, Quantile Regression, Non-Parametric regression for finite population inference, Multidisciplinary research interest and related topics. He has over 30 years’ progressive experience in academics, research, community service and leadership with over 25 years in senior academic leadership positions.
